The exploits of Japanese players especially, in the MLB -- ever since the 90s -- have gotten some good acceptance for AM baseball players. <br /><br /><br />And pitcher Yu Darvish from Japan (playing for the Texas Rangers) is the current talk of baseball right now, as he has been pitching very well, got them on a winning streak for a bit, and even helped them beat the Yankees twice in a row. He is half-Iranian, but doesn't really look mixed, and uses a Japanese interpreter to communicate with the media.
